Admiral Error Code List & Fixes

  • F0 – Function Key Stuck
    Replace the touch pad. If the touch pad is part of the clock (ERC), replace the clock.
  • F1 – Defective Touch Pad or Clock (ERC)
    Replace the touch pad or the clock. The touch pad is more commonly the issue. Refer to F1 diagnostic procedures for confirmation.
  • F2 – Oven Temperature Too Hot
    Replace the relay board (if present) or the oven temperature sensor (RTD). Also, check the sensor harness.
  • F3 or F4 – Shorted or Open Oven Temperature Sensor (RTD)
    Inspect the sensor harness and the connection between the oven sensor and the control. If wiring is intact, replace the oven temperature sensor.
  • F5 – Watchdog and Hardware Conflict
    Replace the clock (ERC).
  • F7 – Function Key Shorted or Stuck
    Replace the touch pad. If integrated with the clock, replace the clock (ERC).
  • F8 – Analog / Digital Problem
    Replace the clock (ERC).
  • F9 – Door Latch Problem
    Inspect and repair door latch components.
