Bosch Error Codes and How to Fix Them
- F32 – Lower Oven Temperature Sensor Failure
There may be an open or short circuit in the lower oven sensor wiring.- Check all connections, especially P24 on the power board.
- Unplug the sensor connector and check resistance (~1080 ohms at room temp). Reconnect afterward.
- Ensure sensor wires are not pinched or open.
- Inspect the solder joint in header P24 on the power board.
- If the sensor checks out, replace the power board.
- F41 – Upper/Single Oven Motorized Latch Won’t Lock
This could be due to a defective latch motor or jammed door/latch switches.- Check P24 connector on the power board.
- Verify door latch switches are functioning.
- Check for pinched wires to the appliance chassis.
- Inspect solder joints at header P24.
- Check P10 connector and inspect latch motor wiring.
- F42 – Lower Oven Motorized Latch Won’t Lock
Same as F41, but for the lower oven.- Check P24 connector on the power board.
- Ensure latch switches are working.
- Check for pinched or shorted wires.
- Check P10 connector and latch motor wiring.
- If issue persists, replace the power board.
- F43 – Upper/Single Oven Latch Issue
Same issue as F41. Follow the same troubleshooting steps. - F44 – Lower Oven Latch Issue
Same issue as F42. Follow the same troubleshooting steps. - F45 – Upper/Single Oven Latch Issue
