Dacor Range / Stove / Oven Fault Codes
Seeing an error code on your Dacor oven or range? Here’s a breakdown of the most common Dacor fault codes and how to troubleshoot them. Understanding these fault codes can help you quickly diagnose the issue and determine whether parts need to be replaced.
Dacor Fault Code List & Solutions
- F0 – Function Key Stuck
Replace the touch pad. If the touch pad is integrated with the clock (ERC), replace the entire clock control board. - F1 – System Watchdog Circuit
Press "Cancel." If the beeping continues after 30 seconds, replace the main control board (ERC). - F2 – Heating Mode High Temperature
Alarm is triggered when runaway heat is detected. Check oven sensor, wiring, and relays. Make sure the unit can complete a clean cycle without error. - F3 – Shorted Oven Temperature Sensor (RTD)
Inspect sensor harness and connection to control board. Replace sensor if wiring is intact. - F4 – Open Oven Temperature Sensor (RTD)
Same steps as F3: inspect sensor wiring and replace the RTD sensor if no faults in wiring are found. - F7 – Door Lock Enabled Above Temperature
Check door lock switches and wiring for faults. - F8 – Door Locking Switch
Inspect the door lock switches and wiring for damage or disconnection.
